The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), represented by the patrols of the Department of Protection and Wildlife, has managed to seize a number of environmental violations during the past few days. According to an official MoCC statement, seizures included throwing waste in places not designated for it, soil dredging and violations of the decision to ban on grazing. As a result, necessary legal measures have been taken against the violators.
The ministry has reiterated that it will not tolerate environmental violations, and that environmental monitoring patrols operate around the clock, in order to preserve Qatar's environment.
