A decrease in temperature is expected in the country during the weekend, the Qatar Met department has said.
The maximum temperature during the day is expected to range from 26-33C and the minimum at night from 14-23C in different parts of Qatar, the weather office said in a tweet Wednesday.
The department has also issued a marine warning for expected thundery rain and high seas, accompanied by sudden strong winds, until Friday. The winds will be southwesterly to southeasterly, with speeds ranging from 8-18 knots and reaching a high of 27 knots during thundershowers.
The wave height will range from 2-5ft, rising to 8ft during thundery rain.
