*Amir holds talks with Brazilian president
At the beginning of the meeting, the Amir welcomed the president and the accompanying delegation, wishing him a pleasant stay, and the relations between the two countries further development and growth in various fields.
For his part, Bolsonaro expressed his thanks to the Amir for the warm reception and hospitality, stressing his country's keenness to develop and strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation with Qatar in various fields to achieve the interests of both countries and peoples.
During the session, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them, especially in the fields of investment, economy, defence, energy and sports, in addition to exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest.
The Amir received from the Brazilian president the Grand Collar of the Brazilian National Medal, the highest Brazilian decoration awarded to heads of state and government.
A number of ministers attended the session.

On arrival at the Amiri Diwan, Bolsonaro was accorded an official reception ceremony.
His Highness the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet at the Amiri Diwan in honour of the Brazilian president and the accompanying delegation. The banquet was attended by a number of ministers and businessmen.
Earlier upon arrival at Doha International Airport on an official visit to the country, the president and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by HE the Minister of Sports and Youth Salah bin Ghanem al-Ali, Qatar's Ambassador to Brazil Ahmed bin Ibrahim al-Abdullah and Brazilian Ambassador Luiz Alberto Figueiredo Machado.
