To imbibe the importance of self-defence, Karate Day was observed by the kindergarten section of Birla Public School recently on a virtual platform. The event began with a brief introduction by karate instructor Krishnankutty. Students performed various action and postures which were recorded, such as horse and forward stances, upper and lower blocks, outer and middle blocks. Kindergarten headmistress Josephine Fernandes applauded the students.
