Noble International School commemorated the 'iron man of India', Sardar Vallabhai Patel, on National Unity Day. The event showcased the significance and contributions of one of the great leaders of the freedom struggle and the first deputy prime minister.
A 600sqft map of India was prepared integrating the cultural and historical peculiarities of each state to enlighten children. Vice principal (academics) Jayamon Joy welcomed the gathering presenting the role of Sardar Patel in the formation of the country. Principal Shibu Abdul Rasheed inaugurated the exhibition.
Vice principal (CCA) Robin K Jose in his vote of thanks cited that the land of diversities has the spirit of unity and integrity which were instilled by the great leaders of the freedom struggle such as Sardar Patel. The activities were led by head of section Nizar K, and supported by Shihabudheen M, Sonia Philip, Lal Kumar and Jinto C.
A quiz on the topic of Indian freedom struggle, patriotic songs and speeches were part of the programme.
