Qatar and Peru have signed an agreement to exempt the citizens of the two countries from short-stay visas. The agreement was signed by Qatar's Director General of the General Directorate of Passports, Major General Mohamed Ahmed al-Ateeq and Peru's ambassador to Qatar Jose Benzaquen Perea. Under the agreement, citizens of Qatar and Peru can enter and stay in each other's countries for 90 days without obtaining a visa.
