Area 8, Division B, District 116 conducted its first confluence meeting on October 14. Four Toastmasters clubs - NIA Hindi, Zeal Club, Marathi Toastmasters Club and Rise Toastmasters Club - are part of Area 8.
Area 8 director Anjali Pimple conducted the meeting virtually on Zoom. The Area 8 ExCom and club presidents Alaka Shukla, Sunita Saini, Chandrashekar Angadi and Ajish Bhaskar supported the initiative.
Speakers Priya, Asha and Nagina delivered speeches in Marathi, Hindi and English, demonstrating the expertise and versatility of languages. All the role-players, evaluators, Toastmaster of the Day Chandrashekar Angadi, general evaluator Abhijit Kuwalekar, module presenter Nishana Maqsood and members participated actively.
The meeting was graced by Division B director Anita Samanta, Club Growth director Ravishankar, Riana Pinto, Chandrashekar Dudhe and other officials.
Meanwhile, Area 6, Division B, District 116, conducted its first confluence meeting on October 9. Four Toastmaster clubs - FCC Vanita, Voltas and Al Zaheem - combined their efforts and resources together for a successful meeting, which was attended by members and guests.
Area 6 director Siby Joseph conducted the meeting virtually on Zoom. The Area 6 ExCom and club presidents Sabeena Abdul Jaleel, Panchu S and Krishna Kumar supported the initiative.
Keynote speaker Michael Wader spoke on ‘Lead Yourself First’. A prepared speech session, a creative Table Topics by Shalini Lal (Al Zaheem), a fun-filled game session by Nufaisa M R (FCC Vanita) and a general evaluation by D S Murthy (Voltas) were the other highlights of the meeting.
