The Scouts and Guides of MES Indian School participated in Jota–Joti, the world’s largest digital and radio Scout event promoting friendship and global citizenship. The event was organised recently by the World Scouts Association and represented by the global Jota management team and modern communication technology.
The educational event, Jota-Joti provided the platform to bring scouts from various countries to interact with each other and develop friendship with fellow scouts through radio telecommunication technology. Rajesh Kuttala, incharge of Scouts and Guides along with 30 students attended a camp held at Al Khor. During the camp the scouts were enlightened about the radio telecommunication technology.
The scouts had the opportunity to interact with their counterparts from the UK, the US, Canada and India. There was also a meeting with the key functionaries of the Qatar Scouts Organisation.
