HE the Minister of Social Development and Family Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad met with Rola Dashti, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), who is visiting the country. The meeting reviewed aspects of co-operation and ways of enhancing and developing them in areas of common interest. The State of Qatar is the Chair of the ninth session of the ESCWA Committee on Women.
