HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Qassim al-Abdullah al-Thani Sunday met Luis Alberto Castiglione, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Paraguay, and the accompanying delegation currently visiting the country. During the meeting, the officials reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of joint co-operation, especially in trade, industry, and investments as well as ways to enhance and develop them. Discussions also touched on commercial policies between the two countries.
The meeting also pointed out the efforts exerted by the two countries in confronting the Covid-19 pandemic. Sheikh Mohamed also highlighted the economic policies put in place by Qatar to support the private sector. These policies included the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that were made available to companies wishing to invest and establish a presence in Qatar.
