As an entrepreneur, life can get pretty hectic, project to complete, people to lead and a business to run, stress and anxiety become a daily visitor. I am still in London this week, visiting a  prominent family member who had a health challenge, taking care of some business stuff and fitting online coaching sessions in between.
With so much going on, I make time to prioritise my mental health and focus on ways to stay calm, focused and energised.
I love waking up early to sit quietly for a while to clear my mind, regulate my breath and focus my thoughts. Once you get your mind in the right place, you'll be better able to tackle your work, get more done and improve your business. This is because quiet time or meditation can also help increase creativity and intelligence, so that you can enter a new day with a clean page and a fresh mind.
I think about my main goals. What can do during the day to get one step closer to achieving them. I open my mind up to new ideas as I meditate. You never know where the next big one will come from. As you meditate, focus your thoughts on the things that inspire you. This might be articles or books you've read, people who you admire or something completely random. Whatever it is, think about why it inspires you and see if it sparks some creativity. I love my quiet morning time and I definitely notice the difference in my day on the very few occasions that I don’t fit it in. Give it a go and let me know what you think.
