The Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) Dean’s Honour List has recognised the academic performance of 63 high-achieving pre-medical and foundation students.
Students who achieved a grade point average of 3.75 or higher during the Spring or Fall Semester of the 2020-21 academic year were included on the list. Forty-five students scored a double victory by making it onto the list in both semesters.

Dr Javaid Sheikh has congratulated the students who made it onto the Dean’s Honour List

The achievements of the students were acknowledged in a ceremony held at the college and online. Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Javaid Sheikh, dean of WCM-Q, said: “Making it onto the Dean’s Honour List takes a great deal of dedication and perseverance; it is not an easy feat by any means. You should all feel very proud of yourselves, as we do of you. I offer my sincere congratulations to our wonderful students and my heartfelt thanks to our faculty for helping them achieve their potential. Well done to all.”
