Armed Forces honour Gulf War participants

The Armed Forces honoured participants of the Al Khafji Battle and the Kuwait Liberation Operation during a ceremony held at the theatre of the National Service Academy at Miqdam Camp, under the patronage and presence of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah.







During the ceremony, HE Dr al-Attiyah honoured the participants of Al Khafji Liberation Battle and handed them the Medal of Courage. He also honoured participants in the Kuwait Liberation Operation and handed them the Medal of Military Operations on behalf of His Highness the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
A short film featuring memories of the Armed Forces' participation in Al Khafji Battle and the Kuwait Liberation Operation was displayed during the ceremony which was attended by ranking Armed Forces officers.
