The Department of Meteorology recently tweeted that the Al-Wasm (Al-Wasmi) season is to begin on October 16 and lasts for 52 days. This period is categorised by the movement of clouds from the West to the East. This period is called Al Wasmi due to its compatibility with the rains that grow various plants such as truffle (plant) and Geranium.
The temperature is expected to drop in Doha during this period, with warm during day and mild cold at night, with the blowing of dry Northwesterly wind.
