High-level officials from the United States met with a delegation from the caretaker government of Afghanistan for two days in Doha, QNA reported.
Political, security and humanitarian issues were discussed during the meeting, including issues related to freedom of movement, human rights, good governance, combating terrorism, not allowing the use of Afghan territory to threaten other countries and emphasising the importance of commitment to the implementation of the Doha Agreement, which was signed on Feb 29, 2020. The meeting concluded with positive and constructive outcomes. The two sides agreed on the importance of continuing communication during the coming period.
