A plane from the Amiri Air Force of the Qatari Armed Forces arrived Monday at Rafic Hariri International Airport, loaded with 70 tonnes of foodstuffs, representing the fourth shipment of food aid provided by Qatar to the army in the sisterly Republic of Lebanon.
Last July, the Qatar announced the support of the Lebanese army with 70 tonnes of foodstuffs per month for a year, as part of the efforts of Qatar and its firm commitment to support the Republic of Lebanon and to provide assistance to the brotherly Lebanese people, in addition to its firm belief in the importance and necessity of activating the joint Arab action.
