Beautiful Memories of Palestine, a pictorial journey through Palestine, currently on view at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Library, has been extended until December 31.
The exhibition features books from MIA’s Rare Book Collection which are largely published in European languages as travel journals, stories and histories, depicting a great fascination for the Arab world.
A series of programmes are planned alongside the exhibition including webinars, and embroidery and landscape painting workshops. The exhibition can also be viewed online through the library page of MIA’s website: www.mia.org.qa/en/library. MIA Library is open Saturday – Thursday 9am – 7pm, Friday 1pm – 7pm.
