The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure on Onaiza Street, opposite Qatar Sports Club from October 8, from 2am to 10am. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to complete the installation of a pedestrian bridge on Onaiza Street.
Road users coming from Al Markhiya Street Interchange can use Al Muhandiseen Street heading towards Khalifa Street. Road users coming from Khalifa Street heading towards Al Markhiya Street can use Al Jamiaa Street, Al Bidda Street or alternate roads behind Qatar Sports Club.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
