The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) launched the home delivery service of ration cards to citizens through Qatar Post, making it possible to obtain a ration card without the need to visit the Department of Supply and Strategic Inventory at the Ministry.

The citizen who is benefiting from the ration card delivery service can pay the fees using the bank card, whether it is an ATM card or a credit card, through the electronic ration services program via the Ministry's website, when choosing to request the delivery of the card through postal services. In case the card is not received by the beneficiary, it is returned to the respective department of the Ministry.

The request to deliver the ration card by postal services is optional, as the card can be received directly from the concerned department at the Ministry.

The Ministry allows citizens to pay the ration card issuance fees of QR 50, through the electronic ration services program via the Ministry's website, if applying for a new card, or requesting a replacement for a lost or damaged card.
