The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure at Mesaimeer Interchange of traffic movement to and from E-Ring Road today Friday from 1am to 12noon. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to start the construction works of a new pedestrian bridge in the area.
Motorists coming to E-Ring Road can use the southern part of Doha Expressway to reach their destinations and those heading to Mesaimeer Intersection from the E-Ring must use Najma Street to D Ring Rd or Asad Bin Al Furat Street to reach their destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
