The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a six-hour closure (midnight to 6am) on D Ring carriageway in one direction from LuLu Intersection to Nuaija (Mall) Intersection until September 26. Motorists can use the parallel service road to reach their destinations.
Left turns and U-turns on LuLu Intersection will also be closed during the period. Drivers can use Nuaija and Doha International Airport Intersections.
The diversions in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic aim at enabling the D Ring Road Project to expand the road and improve three intersections.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
