Division A of Toastmasters International, District 116, recently conducted the second edition of its training series with two educational modules.
An introductory module on ‘Adult Learning’ was presented by the Division A programme quality director Niloufer Samal and a detailed module on 'Train the Trainer’ by Alicia Curtis from the US.
Division A director Jayakumar Menon opened the meeting and welcomed all attendees after sergeant-at-arms Sherwin Olimpo set the ground rules. Joahanna Mae Escoba was the master of ceremonies, the timing was monitored by Gilda Shlah while the vote of thanks was delivered by the awards chair Akash Bhutada on behalf of division A TLI chair Padma Bhutada who was the lead arranger.
The meeting was graced by past district director Rajeswar Sundaresan and other officials of District 116.
The next training module on ‘Challenges and Best Practices for Club Executive Committee” is slated for October 3.
