The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the United States of Mexico organized a high level seminar to celebrate the International Day to Protect Education from Attack and to announce the Qatar Grants provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD).
On this occasion, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Mexican States Mohammed bin Jassim Al Kuwari said in a speech that the State of Qatar was and still committed to all available means that guarantee the right to education for all children of the world, especially those who live in an atmosphere of war, poverty and insecurity.
HE the Ambassador noted that the State of Qatar does not believe that the International Day to Protect Education from Attack will remove all obstacles and attacks on education and educational institutions, but rather it is a call to draw the worlds attention to the fact that securing childrens education is a duty of governments, which includes removing the specter of war and insecurity from children and educational institutions so they can achieve their desired educational attainment in line with the principles and repeated calls of the United Nations and UNICEF.
