General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti inaugurated Gallery 38 at Building 38 of Katara on Thursday. The exhibition, according to an official Katara press statement, features a collection of works by world-renowned contemporary artists. And the show has many artistic creations, paintings and sculptures. The exhibition includes 18 works by 13 international artists from New Zealand, China, France and Singapore.
While opening the exhibition, al-Sulaiti said that Katara is keen to bring distinctive artistic experiences because of it's role in enriching the artistic and cultural arena. “This is not new to Katara Cultural Village, which is an umbrella for creators from all countries of the world,” he said, pointing out that Gallery 38 includes works of international standards that enhance the status of Katara Cultural Village as a global artistic tourist destination.
