BC Toastmasters Club (BCTC) hosted a farewell ceremony in honour of their vice president-education ,Shams Elias.
Bangladesh Community Qatar president engineer Anwar Hossain Akon, immediate past Area 21 director Noor Mohamed, immediate past president of BCTC, Khorshed Alam, president Mohamed Nurul Kabir Chowdhury and member Monirul Hoque were among those present on the occasion.
Elias, moving to the UK to pursue his Master’s in Energy Engineering, was an active member of the Bangladesh community in Qatar and served in different capacities in organisations such as Chittagong Samity Qatar and The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh – Qatar Chapter.
Fellow Toastmasters from BCTC extended their best wishes to Elias, who thanked the club for the farewell ceremony.
