The Kahramaa Awareness Park (KAP) concluded its Play with KAP Team and the Treasure Hunt activities organised by the Awareness Department of the National Programme for Conservation and Energy Efficiency (Tarsheed) of the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
The first phase of the initiative was for Kahramaa employees and a number of departments participated in various activities, it was explained in a statement on Wednesday. These included team building workshops, improving the work environment and removing work pressures caused by Covid-19.
Activities and question and answer sessions about Tarsheed and KAP were held to create awareness of following rational and environmentally-friendly behaviours through the efficient use of electricity and water.
The Treasure Hunt introduced various sections of KAP to raise awareness in a new and innovative way with a number of prizes hidden across the park.
The second phase of the initiative was for Tarsheed partners and supporters of KAP. More than 12 different entities from various sectors participated. These are Vodafone Qatar, Qatar Rail, Qatar Airways, Qatar Social Work, Qatar National Museum, Aspire Academy, Aspetar, Behavioral Health Care Center, Qatar Petrochemical Company and various other entities. The event included an awareness tour at KAP, in addition to a number of activities aimed at spreading the message of Tarsheed.
