HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met Thursday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, who is currently visiting the country. They reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, and the latest field developments in Afghanistan, in both its security and political aspects. HE Sheikh Mohamed stressed the importance of protecting civilians and the need to intensify the necessary efforts to achieve national reconciliation, as well as to seek a comprehensive political settlement that guarantees a peaceful transfer of power in Afghanistan, in line with the gains achieved by the Afghan people.
