ACS International School Doha has welcomed back all students for face-to-face learning for the new school year at its spacious landmark campus in Al Kheesa.
ACS Doha is amongst only a few schools in the region to be able to open its doors to all students, according to a statement.
The school’s students have gained a 100% pass rate in their International Baccalaureate for three consecutive years, with the highest grade average achieved during the pandemic.
Students have gone on to attend leading universities around the world, supported by a team of talented educators and college counsellors.
The school also offers the US High School Diploma and Advanced Placement, and – unique to Qatar – also offers the International Baccalaureate Career Programme (IBCP).
Welcoming students back, Head of School, Robert Cody, said: “After a remarkable year – the first in our leading-edge campus – we are thrilled to have all of our students back together in school, where they can truly benefit from rigorous teaching, learning in our inspirational spaces and joining a vibrant, inclusive, global community of students and teachers. I know our teachers are as excited to be back as our students are.
“We have fantastic new spaces opening, which will allow our students to further explore their creativity and participate in sports in world-class facilities. This builds on solid educational foundations, and we are proud to offer the very best of international and US programmes that get our students ready to become the world’s next thinkers and doers.”
In coming months, students will benefit from a new sports centre, drama studio and swimming pool.
ACS Doha is home to more than 920 students between age three and 18, from over 70 nationalities, and has been in Qatar since 2011. It is part of the ACS International Schools group, established in 1967, with three other schools in Cobham, Egham and Hillingdon in the Greater London area, UK.
