Division A of Toastmasters International, District 116, recently conducted its first Education module on Pathways titled “The Path Well Taken”. The module was presented by Sunil Kumar Menon who explained the essence of Pathways and how to benefit from it to the fullest. He emphasised Pathways is an experiential self-paced learning programme to develop leadership and public speaking skills with flexibility to develop desired competencies.
Division A director Jayakumar Menon opened the meeting and welcomed all attendees after sergeant-at-arms Sherwin Olimpo set the ground rules.
Niloufer Samal, programme quality director, addressed the meeting and emphasised the importance of knowledge sharing sessions for high-quality delivery of the Toastmasters Education Programme.
Shasanth Shanmadhuran was the master of ceremonies, the timing was monitored by Gilda Shlah while the vote of thanks was delivered by Area 2 director Shailaja Seri on behalf of division A TLI chair Padma Bhutada who was the lead arranger.
The meeting was graced by officials of District 116 including Manzoor Moideen, Thayalan K, Ravi Shankar among other senior leaders.
The next training module on ‘Training Skills/Training the Trainer” is slated for September 3, 2021.
