Qatar SC took the second place in the Arab Club Table Tennis Championships, which concluded in Amman on Monday, after losing to Egypt’s Al-Ahly (1-3) in the final match.
Al-Ahly player Omar Asr defeated Qatar SC player Mohamed Abdel-Wahab (3-0) in the first meeting.
In the second meeting, the Qatari team managed to come back from behind and achieve a draw (1-1) after Robert Jardos, a Qatar SC professional, defeated Mohamed al-Baili (3-1).
Sayed Lashin, Al-Ahly player, defeated Qatar SC’s Ahmed Khalil in the third meeting, (3-2).
The fourth match, won by Omar Asr, granted the championship for Al-Ahly, after he defeated, Robert Jardos with a score of (3-2).
