Vodafone Qatar launched on Sunday the Sanad programme, its latest CSR initiative for Qatari SMEs aimed at providing mentoring and career advice, networking opportunities, and access to various services to support their growth and success.
Established businesses will be able to use Vodafone’s procurement platform to showcase and commercialise their services and products to Vodafone.
In line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, the new Sanad business hub is part of Vodafone’s mission to help diversify the SME landscape and create a knowledge-based economy, which is characterised by innovation, inspiration, and business ethics.
Ali al-Abdulla, head of media and CSR, Vodafone Qatar, said: “SMEs are the backbone of any advanced and diversified economy and supporting businesses with the most advanced technology solutions is a major priority for us.
“Through the Sanad platform, we have focused on putting specific training plans in place and expanding our range of support via the Vodafone Qatar procurement team. We aim to fully support local businesses by reinforcing proper communication and knowledge transfer and exchange between different departments.
On his part, Faisal al-Thani, senior CSR specialist, Vodafone Qatar, said: “We at Vodafone Qatar believe in the power of technology in enabling SMEs to excel in the market.
