The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs Sunday issued the Qatari calendar (Doha time) for the Hijri year 1443 AH (2021-2022). The calendar, which was prepared by the ministry's Department of Islamic Research and Studies, is being distributed to the public at Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani Public Library in Umm Ghuwailina, from 8am to 12pm. Besides the prayer timings, the new calendar contains the climatic features of each month, which help people in their travels. The calendar is considered a guide for the Muslim that reminds him of the performance of worship and the importance of time and his responsibility to strive to make use of it with righteous deeds.
