Managing committee members from the HR Professionals Forum Qatar (HRPFQ) met with Indian ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal to present an overview about the organisation. President Syed Qadeer spoke on the transformation of the organsiation from a WhatsApp group into a full-fledged forum which conducts regular workshops with the aim of enhancing knowledge and skills of the HR professionals in Qatar.
Qadeer explained that the forum would like to further serve the cause of workers (both blue collar/ white collar) in Qatar by providing support in terms of placement services, legal remedy, explaining labour regulations, enhancing skills level of the workers apart from other corporate social responsibility activities such as blood donation/ creating awareness on various welfare measures.
HRPFQ would be closely working with the Indian embassy in enlisting the support of the National Skill Development Corporation, India, to enhance the skills of workmen to meet the changing technology and business landscape.
