Birla Public School, which presented 433 students for the Central Board of Secondary Education's Grade XII exams, saw 214 students score above 90% and 211 above 75% percent (distinction). The results were announced on Friday.
The overall and Commerce stream topper is Swaathi Chidambaram (97.60%). The Science stream toppers are Sudarshan Sarvanan, Aaron Varughese Chandapillai and Simple Sibi Joseph who scored 97.20% each. The Humanities stream topper is Fizafathima Theparambil Mumthaj (97%).
A total of 52 students got A1 grade in all the five subjects. One student in Mathematics, two students each in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Graphic and Psychology scored centum. In all, the school got 845 A1s, in all the subjects.
This year the school registered 90.53 % school average in Science, while it is 85.98 % in Commerce, 88.05 % in Humanities and overall school average registered is 89.18%.
The other toppers in Commerce stream were: Niel Biju Samuel (97%), Deepthy Jose (96.8%). The other toppers in Science stream: Vishnu Tirth Bysani, Afra Banu Shaikh Aslam, Serena Anthony, Sita, Drashti Nikhil Modi, Reuben Peter Silveira (97% each), Rishika Angadi Girish, Hana Nishan, Aingela Mulakkaleth Shibu, Amal Mohamed Inthikaf, Farwa Bismi, Muhammed Faiz Abbas, Ninav Neshikumar Lali, Sakina Husain, Sana Salim Shaikh, Fathima Manooja, Soumya Sangham Jha (96.80% each). The other toppers in Humanities stream: Niveditha Ajay (96.80), Aditi Sadavarte and Fiza Shiadh (96.40%).
