91 face prosecution for Covid violations

In line with the Cabinet decision based on Law No. 17/1990 regarding infectious diseases, the competent authorities referred 91 people to the Public Prosecution for violating the Covid-19 preventive and precautionary measures in force. While 85 people were booked for not wearing a mask, six did not maintain a safe physical distance, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) tweeted Tuesday.
The competent authorities urge the public to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures in force to protect them and others from the spread of coronavirus, the tweet added.
