The Supreme Judiciary Council has launched a unified service centre for all courts in the evening period at Lusail, within its plans to activate the national initiative to develop justice systems aimed at providing easy services to litigants.
The Court of Appeal and Court of Cassation's location was chosen in the Lusail area in order to provide the center's various services - most prominent of which are case registration services, inquiry services, and technical support services for users of the electronic court portal.
This unified centre comes in line with the efforts of the morning period service centres of each court, and its working hours will be from 4pm to 8pm. This initiative also comes within the national initiative projects to develop the justice systems that the council is relentlessly working on during the trial stage for three months, which will be followed by the expansion of unified service provision centres for courts through government service centres in the regions of the country.
It is worth mentioning that the Supreme Judiciary Council has made new updates in its updated organisational structure, including a sector concerned with supporting judicial affairs, represented by the creation of a department for litigants services that includes a unified call centre, a unified public services section represented by the centre and a section for judicial announcements, as well as a number of other services.
