Air India has announced additional direct flights between Doha and three destinations in India – Kochi, Hyderabad and Mumbai – from August 1 to October 29. The Indian carrier will be flying twice a week on these routes, the company website showed.

According to travel agency sources, the prices start at QR450 (one-way) in each of these routes. Bookings are open through Air India website (www.airindia.in), booking offices, call centre and authorised travel agents. An Air India tweet said: “It will be the sole responsibility of the passengers to ensure their eligibility to enter the destination country. Air India will accept no liability in case boarding is denied due to not meeting the eligibility for travel.” India-Qatar sector has been witnessing heavy rush of passengers mainly on account of the summer vacation and recent easing of entry procedures including hotel quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated residents.
