The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced lane reduction at Lekhwair Interchange and closure of two lanes and right turn lane at National Library Interchange for those coming from Al Markhiya Street while keeping one lane open for left turn towards Corniche Street from Wednesday for three days.
The closures, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, are to complete infrastructure works. Road users coming from Al Markhiya Street and wishing to turn right will have to turn left towards Al Corniche Street than make a U-turn at Sheraton Intersection to reach their destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
