Senior business leaders made an official visit on Tuesday to the project site of The View Hospital, which is on track to open in August next year.
The View Hospital will be operated by Elegancia Healthcare, in affiliation with Cedars-Sinai, the internationally renowned healthcare group based in Los Angeles, US.
The state-of-the-art 242-bed facility, spanning approximately 101,000sq m, is situated in Al Qutaifiya, neighbouring The Pearl-Qatar, overlooking Katara and the skyline of Doha.
Representatives from Cedars-Sinai and Elegancia Healthcare toured the construction site, which included a presentation of the design concept and renderings of the hospital.
The delegation discussed the features, departments and The View’s facilities.
The 15-storey hospital will offer a comprehensive range of medical services and facilities, including 12 intensive care units, eight critical care units, 11 neo-natal intensive care units, and six labour, delivery and recovery rooms.
The façade of the hospital integrates LED technology to produce an effect of flowing water – a welcoming sight for patients seeking quality healthcare, according to a press statement.
