The Department of Meteorology on Wednesday said the clouds are expected to increase gradually from Thursday until the middle of next week with a chance of scattered rain from Saturday.
The rain will be ranging mostly between light to moderate in intensity that may become thundery at times, the Met Department said. During the period, strong winds are expected that can lead to blowing dust and low horizontal visibility at times, especially on Sunday and Monday, both inshore and offshore. The wind will be Northeasterly-Southeasterly ranging between 8-18 KT gusting to 28 KT with thundery rain.
The Met Department urged everyone to be careful and to avoid marine activities during the period.
