Students of Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) performed well in Inter-School Painting Competition recently organised by Anti-Smoking Society of Qatar. The event was conducted in connection with International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
Hecterge Nemsith Nimpura Peiris (Sub Junior Category) and Svetlana Mary Shibu (Junior category) bagged the first prize while Mohammad Zayd (Junior Category) and Sinan Basim (Senior Category) won the second prize. Daksith Damshra got the third prize in Junior Category. Narmeen Abdulla was awarded with a special prize. More than 200 students from 15 Indian Schools participated in the contest that had the theme of ‘United for a Drug Free Society.’
