Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) recently hosted the third online talk show ‘Rapport with Principal’.
The show is conducted through the ICC Student’s Forum. Its topic was ‘perfection is child’s nightmare; appreciation is the best remedy; and importance of games in a student’s life.’
Hameeda Kadar, principal, MES Indian School, was the keynote speaker. She emphasised the need for developing an understanding between adults and children to reduce stress and improve communication. She pointed out that the adults should have realistic expectations from children, encourage and appreciate them.
Over 17 students put forward questions that were answered satisfactorily by the guest speaker.
ICC president P N Babu Rajan highlighted the need to look into problems faced by children due to the high expectations from parents. He appreciated the guest principal. He also praised the students for coming forward and asking questions to clear their doubts.
The event was hosted by Kamla Thakur, head of activity co-ordinator & education. The event was conducted by Shweta Koshti, head of cultural activities.
Mohamed Zayan, student, MES Indian School, welcomed the guest and attendees.

ICC vice president Subramanya Hebbagelu and all ICC committee members also took part in conducting the event which was attended by students of various Indian schools, parents and prominent members of the community.
