The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has assigned aides to persons with special needs to help them carry out their transactions and deliver the same to them at their places, especially the elderly.
This is part of the ministry's distinguished services provided to the elderly and persons with disabilities as a mark of appreciation for them.
Such special services amounted to 36 transactions since they were first activated in August 202, the ministry said in a statement. Accordingly, the ministry called on this targeted category of people to contact the customer service centre on the hotline - 155; the ministry phone number - 44044444; WhatsApp - 60020020; fax - 44044107; or email - [email protected], when they need to carry out any transactions at the ministry.
The education ministry has directed its employees to give priority to such category of people while providing a service.
