Qatar has participated in the 33rd meeting of heads of drug control agencies in the GCC, held via video communication technology.
Qatar was represented by the director of Studies and International Affairs at the Ministry of Interior (MoI)’s General Directorate of Drug Enforcement, Lieutenant-Colonel Mohamed Abdullah al-Khater.
The meeting reviewed the mechanisms of co-operation between the GCC states in drug control and the most important executive procedures for the decisions and recommendations of the previous meeting.
It also reviewed the most important developments related to the field of combating this scourge. – QNA
