His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met at the Amiri Diwan Office Monday with Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Finance Ueli Maurer, and the accompanying delegation, who called upon him to greet him on the occasion of their visit to the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed the existing co-operation relations between the two countries and prospects of enhancing and developing them especially in investment, finance and economy, besides issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Swiss State Secretary for International Finance Daniela Stoffel, Chairman of the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA) Herbert Scheidt, CEO of Credit Suisse Thomas Gottstein, CEO of Julius Baer Philipp Rickenbacher and CEO of UBS Group Ralph Hamers.
