Ooredoo has announced that it will hold a second round of ‘The Art and the Mobile’ initiative, in collaboration with Qatar Museums, and in partnership with legendary football team Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Eleven artists have been selected to take part in the second round and paired with a Paris Saint-Germain player. Each artist will be given a smartphone, with which they will create their masterpiece that will then be signed by the PSG player.
The 11 smartphone masterpieces will then be auctioned via Ooredoo’s social media account on Instagram tomorrow, with proceeds going to good causes.
Moza al-Muhannadi, director of CSR, Sponsorship and Media at Ooredoo, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Qatar Museums again, and our partners Paris Saint-Germain, to raise even more funds for charitable causes.
“We saw a phenomenal response to the last ‘The Art and the Mobile’ initiative, raising a great deal for charity, and we’re sure this next auction will feature some equally incredible artworks that will fetch just as impressive amounts to help the less fortunate. We’re looking forward to seeing what our artist create this time around.”
