"Hot to very hot" conditions are again expected in the country today during the daytime, the Qatar Met department has said. On Friday, a maximum temperature of 49C was recorded in Sudanthile (southern Qatar), followed by 48C in Mesaimeer, Mesaieed and Turayna, 47C in the Qatar University area, Mukaynis and Karana, 46C in Doha (airport area) and Sheehaniya, 45C in Wakra, Al Khor and Jumayliyah, and 44C in the Hamad International Airport area, Dukhan and Ghuwayriyah, according to weather charts. Today's detailed forecast says it will be hazy to misty in some places in the early hours, followed by a "hot to very hot" daytime and humid conditions by night. Offshore, it will be hazy at times and misty conditions are likely in some areas at first. The temperature is expected to range from 34-46 in Doha on Saturday, 32-45C in Al Khor, 30-45C in Wakra and Mesaieed, 29-44C in Dukhan, 27-42C in Abu Samra and 31-37C in Ruwais.
