The Maritime Customs Department at Ras Laffan Port has foiled an attempt to smuggle prohibited pills into Qatar. The contraband, totalling some 9,600 pills, was found hidden inside the luggage of a passenger, the General Authority of Customs said in a tweet on Thursday.
