Ghanem S M al-Saad al-Kuwari, chairman, Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) recently announced the nomination of Rasheed Ahmed as new vice chairman and president of the school.
K C Abdullatheef, current vice chairman and president, has been nominated as the managing director.
Other members of the management committee are: Anvar Hussain, vice president; E Arshed, general secretary; S Noorudheen, treasurer; Musheer Abdulla, secretary; and Sharfraz Ismaeel.
Rasheed Ahamed has expertise in education and talent development. He has served in leadership roles of various community and organisational platforms in Qatar. Anvar Hussain is a management consultant with relevant experience in corporate as well as education management in Qatar and UAE.
E Arshed is an IT applications analyst, having wide experience in Qatar and Kuwait.
Musheer Abdulla is a strategy and performance management specialist. S Noorudheen is an experienced chartered accountant. Sharfraz Ismaeel is an expert in HR, operations and marketing management.
K C Abdullatheef is a long-time resident and has played a leading role in developing SIS into a prestigious institute.
"The newly-elected committee will continue imparting sustainable quality education ensuring personalised learning experience and holistic development of the children realising SIS vision 'distinctively excellent education," said Rasheed Ahamed.
