The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, has announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models of 2018-2019 due to a fault in the screw that attaches the brake pedal to the bearing bracket, which is not well secured, causing the brake lights to turn on permanently.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the MoCI's continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry has said it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to
ensure that they have carried out the necessary repairs.
The MoCI has urged all customers to report violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes
